About Us

Horses in a field

Sugarfoot Kennels was the dream of my late husband, Bill Morck. While successfully breeding four generations of Champion English Mastiffs, Bill realized there was a need for a boarding facility that specialized in medium and large size dogs. In April 1994, we opened Sugarfoot Kennels on our family farm in Goodview. Today, 30 years later and counting, I continue to lovingly care for your best friends, both big and small! We learned that little dogs like to play outside too!

Our runs are designed to give all dogs the freedom to move from inside to outside at their leisure. No waiting their turn! And because I live on the premises, our doggie doors are opened daily at 7:00 am and remain open until 11:00 pm. No locking everyone inside and leaving at 6:00! On a warm evening , you’ll find everyone relaxing outside!

Kennel RunsI strive for our kennel to be one of the cleanest you will ever visit! We feature the Mason Kennel Company’s patented Sani-Kennel System with front and rear gutters and designated septic system. Our runs are disinfected daily and the patented aluminum isolation channels allow for better air flow. We also feature the Mason Kennel Company’s patented “Never-Fail” gate latch and custom weave fencing. We use only stainless steel bowls and buckets. There is nothing in our kennel that cannot be disinfected. No cedar shavings, no mulch, no sawdust, no wooden doors or gates. Our facility was designed, built and is maintained for your dog’s health, safety and happiness.

Additionally, because we are small, we really get to know your best friend. My ambition is to maintain a loving, tranquil, safe, fun, clean environment where your dog wants to visit again and again! I’d love your dog to be my next guest!
